Jury Duty, Day 2 - Sitting and waiting
I've entitled this posting sitting and waiting because that's all I've done so far. I arrived this morning bright early in order to get a good seat and grab something to eat. At 9:00am on the dot a staff person read off the first list of 13 jurors that had been selected for a case. The names were read and the individuals followed one of the sherrifs out of the room. About 30 minutes later that same women came back into the room and asked for our attention once again. She informed us she was about to read off a list of 40 jurors that would need to go with another sherriff. Once again I was in the clear. Gotta go, that woman is back.
